Dear Nanotechnology Enthusiasts,

I am extremely happy to inform you that Honourable Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan, who is a member of our group, has very kindly offered to be the host of our next meeting. He is a lawyer by profession, a former Minister in the Central Government, and an eminent columnist. He is, of course, also showing keen interest in the emerging field of nanotechnology. I think we are lucky to have his patronage in our Group.

I am also very happy to report to you that Mr. Punit Mehrotra, who is one of the most prominent experts on nanotechnology, will be the Chief Guest. He is the founder of Nano Science & Technology Consortium (http://www.nstc.in) and he will be addressing us. Of course, there will be ample opportunity for everyone to participate in the discussion.

The meeting will be held at the residence of Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 24 June 08. The venue is B-10, Mayfair Garden, near Hauz Khas, betweeen Aurobindo and Khel Gaon Margs, New Delhi.

Our third meeting

Friends,

Our membership is growing at a fairly satisfactory rate every month.

I am now scheduling our third meeting. Our first meeting was attended by 6 persons and the second by nine (please don't go by the numbers on our web site since many people do not tend to fill the attendance form). Although I want as many of you to come to our next meeting as can, realistically I am expecting between 12 and 20 people to show up.

Our member Mr. Anas Khan has offered his business premises in Lajpat Nagar I for holding of the meeting.

During the meeting computer slide presentations will be made relative to new nanotechnology business opportunities (any of you are welcome to bring your slides for presentation) and discussion can take place. Plus, of course, you will be meeting persons with whom you might collaborate in future to launch new business ventures.

Friends,

We now have some seventeen members of our Group.

Recently, I attended the annual meetings of FICCI and the PHDCCI. I explained to some of the people I met there about the new business opportunities that have become available in nanotechnology. Hopefully these organizations might also take interest in nanotechnology.

In the mean time, let us meet with the Last Sunday of the Month formula. In the meeting on 24 Feb 08 you will be given a slide presentation on nanotechnology business opportunities. Please do bring your laptop, if you have one.

In future meetings, as our membership grows, we will invite some eminent persons to discuss nanotechnology business opportunities. One person that we must invite is Mr. Deepak Puri, General Manager of MoserBaer.

Between five and ten people are expected to attend the meeting. Some people have telephonically told me they will attend but they have not been able to logon to the web site and RSVP yes. When we meet on 27 January 08 we will get to know each other and discuss nanotechnology business opportunities.
