Delhi Nanotechnology Business Group and Nano Science and Technology Consortium, NOIDA (http://www.nstc.in) are jointly organizing a meeting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, 28 November 09, at the New Friends Club. This is located about 1.5 kilometers south of Ashram Chowk on main Mathura Road with a big board displaying the name of the Club.

The reason for the short notice is the visit to Delhi by Dr. Raviprasad Krishnamurthy, an NRI from Australia. He is a nanotechnology entrepreneur who is very much interested in developing business contacts in India. The time of the meeting has been scheduled in accordance with the tight schedulle of Dr. Krishnamurthy in Delhi. Along with Dr. Krishnamurthy, Mr. Puneet Mehrotra who is the founder of NSTC will also be gracing the occasion along with his colleagues.

Please do attend for an interactive session with Dr. Krishnamurthy and bring along for discussion any nanotechnology business models you might have. I have already uploaded a business model for small entrepreneurs to the Files section of our site and this can also be taken up for discussion.

Please do not go by the very low number of people who RSVP yes to attending the meeting. This is because most people who show up at the meetings do not RSVP anything.

Dear Nanotechnology Enthusiasts,

I am extremely happy to inform you that Honourable Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan, who is a member of our group, has very kindly offered to be the host of our next meeting. He is a lawyer by profession, a former Minister in the Central Government, and an eminent columnist. He is, of course, also showing keen interest in the emerging field of nanotechnology. I think we are lucky to have his patronage in our Group.

I am also very happy to report to you that Mr. Punit Mehrotra, who is one of the most prominent experts on nanotechnology, will be the Chief Guest. He is the founder of Nano Science & Technology Consortium (http://www.nstc.in) and he will be addressing us. Of course, there will be ample opportunity for everyone to participate in the discussion.

The meeting will be held at the residence of Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 24 June 08. The venue is B-10, Mayfair Garden, near Hauz Khas, betweeen Aurobindo and Khel Gaon Margs, New Delhi.

We now have some seventeen members of our Group.

Recently, I attended the annual meetings of FICCI and the PHDCCI. I explained to some of the people I met there about the new business opportunities that have become available in nanotechnology. Hopefully these organizations might also take interest in nanotechnology.

In the mean time, let us meet with the Last Sunday of the Month formula. In the meeting on 24 Feb 08 you will be given a slide presentation on nanotechnology business opportunities. Please do bring your laptop, if you have one.

In future meetings, as our membership grows, we will invite some eminent persons to discuss nanotechnology business opportunities. One person that we must invite is Mr. Deepak Puri, General Manager of MoserBaer.
